Craig Learned

About Craig Learned:
I was born in Fairbanks Alaska and spent the first 18 years of my life and several summers after that in Alaska, mostly Ketchikan. Memories of childhood include spending time on our family boat crabbing, fishing, and hiking, and at our family cabin in Port Townsend, Washington. I graduated from Oregon State University in 1985 with a degree in Business Administration, emphasis in accounting, and immediately left to explore Mexico and Central America. After returning I worked mostly at First Alternative Food Co-op in Corvallis and continued to travel for the next several years including a memorable motorcycle trip to Prudhoe Bay, a trip across the country on a Honda Spree 50 scooter, several long bicycle trips, an extended trip to Europe, living in Boston for a spell, etc. I was fortunate to have loving parents who let me live my own life, a wonderful sister, and great friends.

As my years increased, my love of programming computers became more obvious and I returned to OSU, obtaining a second degree in Software Engineering. Today I still have a wonderful family and great friends, am a computer programmer with WebMD Corporation, an avid long distance hiker/walker, and love world travel. I live in Portland Oregon and am 43 years old.
